We believe work is transformational – offering a sense of purpose, whilst building confidence and self-worth. Which is why we do what we do – offering work and training opportunities for those struggling with addiction or a history of offending, giving some of the most overlooked and marginalised people in our community a fresh start.
why we are doing it
The relationship between drugs and crime is complex with high offending rates, but it’s proven that employment can help recovery from dependence. Here, at Chocolate & Co, we believe that being part of a small team and working alongside each other, can be a vital aspect of the journey to health and wellbeing – which is why we are crafting our delicious hot chocolates, creating connections and inspiring change.

Our Team
Linda
We’ve experienced the devastating consequences of addiction, & it’s hard for so many people. Chocolate & Co is our way of doing something to try prevent another family losing a son or daughter to drugs. It’s a passion and we work with such amazing people, that it’s always a good day when we’re at work together.
Mazza
When Damien and Claire died, I felt that something needed to be done to try to stop others losing the battle with drugs, and so Chocolate & Co was born. I love what I do, and the people I’m working with – we’ve all got something to bring, to make the world a tiny bit better and so that’s what I try to do, along with the guys I work with. Together, we’re a team.
Andy
This is my first real job and I love it. It’s fun, every day is different and we really are a team. It’s helped build my confidence and and my belief in myself, and it’s not just about the actual job, I’ve done training, budgeting and a load of other life skills stuff.
